Briarwood Animal Hospital has been serving South Florida since 1981.

First Visit

To help keep all pets and visitors safe, please ensure your pet is properly secured before entering the clinic. We ask that all dogs remain on a leash and all cats or small pets be transported in a carrier while in the waiting area. Since some pets may feel anxious around unfamiliar people or animals, these precautions help create a calmer environment for everyone. If your pet is experiencing an emergency or may have a contagious condition, please contact us prior to arrival so our team can prepare accordingly.

Appointments

To provide the best care for our patients and maintain an efficient schedule for appointments and surgical procedures, we see patients primarily by appointment. Our team works hard to keep wait times to a minimum and see each client as close to their scheduled time as possible. If you are unable to make your appointment, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance to reschedule.

Boarding / Visits

We do provide boarding services for your pet. We will make sure your pet receives plenty of TLC while you are away. For the safety of all pets in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Animals requiring veterinary attention (such as defleaing, deworming, etc.) will be taken care of at the owner’s expense.

Pets are discharged during normal business hours Monday through Friday 2p.m. to 6p.m., Saturdays, between 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. Please make prior arrangements if you need to pick up your pet earlier in the day. Remember, we will be giving your pet a bath in the morning before you come for them.

Payments / Fees

Payment is expected at the time veterinary services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks with a valid driver’s license, and major credit cards including MasterCard, American Express, and Visa.

Our veterinary fees are based on several important factors, including the time and level of care required, the services provided, the expertise and experience of our veterinarians and support staff, the quality of our medical equipment and facilities, ongoing staff education and training, and the high-quality medications and products used in patient care.

We are committed to providing exceptional veterinary services at fair and reasonable rates. Clients are always encouraged to discuss treatment plans and estimated costs with our team prior to services being performed.
